Three advisor's met at a National Conference Session
In October of 2011 three advisor's from three very different geographic locations, institutions and responsibilities met at a concurrent session at the National Academic Advising Association Conference. The session was called "Critical Questions in Academic Advising". It turns out that a critical questions for these advisor's was what ARE the major theories of Academic Advising and how do they relate to their everyday practice? So they decided to engage in a year long experiment that challenges them to consciously relate advising theory to their everyday practice and remain accountable to one another to share their experiences as they go.
